Portland Business Network celebrates those who actively help other members grow their business by meeting 1 to 1 to learn more about how to promote other's businesses; by inviting visitors to meetings; and by referring clients and referral sources to fellow members and visitors.
Each member and visitor is given 60 seconds to teach the group how to identify a good client and how to make a solid referral. It's a great opportunity to ask for connections to specific individuals or businesses.
On the first Tuesday of each month a guest speaker presents a topic aimed at improving the way our members and visitors do business. The remaining Tuesday meetings feature PBN members who present the group with a deeper understanding of the member's business and how to identify and make a good referral.
This is the highlight of the meeting when members and visitors announce the connections they made during the previous week with and for others in the group.
